East African shea butter, also known as the Nilotica variety, is higher in oleic acid content, making it a better moisturizer than the West African shea butter. It is very soft and is normally pure white, to cream yellow, to off-white in color. It penetrates the skin very quickly and easily, leaving soft, velvety smooth skin in seconds.

If you are looking for a superior moisturizer, with little to no odor, and is all natural, the East African variety of shea butter is possibly the best in the world! We are also happy to be able to offer this variety of shea butter at such a competitive price. It is very hard to find anywhere outside of Uganda, and importing it from Uganda is also a challenge.
